Relaxing by the big open fire in the bar area was a highlight of my stay. Breakfast had a great variety, but I wished for more options for diairy-free choices. The staff were consistently friendly and very accommodating, making the service pleasant. I had some issues with the air conditioning not working well in my room, which added some discomfort to my stay. there was a broken toilet roll holder in the bathroom that should have been fixed before arrival. Despite these small setbacks, the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and enjoyable.

The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, leaving everything soaked including my belongings, making for a rather uncomfortable and dangerous situation. Lastly, decor in some areas appears dated and in need of touch-ups, which contrasts with the hotel's overall expectations.

I had such a lovely time walking to Williamson Park and enjoying the views plus exploring the fascinating Lancaster Castle, which made my trip unforgettable and perfectly complemented my long strolls through the city streets.

Staff were very friendly and keen to help.

Hair conditioner was not provided, which would have been helpful.

This place was just what we needed for a weekend! The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delish. We loved lounging by the pool and even had some snacks at the bar, which were on point. Just a heads up, the hot water in the bathroom was real hot, tough to nail down the temp. Still, a fab stay overall!

Dinner was absolutely gorgeous, and breakfast was a satisfying full English. I loved that my room was well-appointed and roomy, but I wish there were more options on the room service menu late at night.
